Petitions like this make no sense.

What do you do if you support censorship? There’s no box for that.

Maybe you get 1,000 people signing your petition, but 10,000 people would have signed the “start plant censorship” petition.

It’s all meaningless and legislators know it.

What you can do though: in the EU you can start a petition to hold a referendum on the issue. It’s not a legally binding referendum, but it’s much closer to something meaningful.
