    I can’t say that I like Paul Cockshott.

    It’s not just his anti-LGBT stance; some of his takes on immigration and Marx’s stances (saying Marx was wrong on certain things that most Marxist academics uphold) make me pretty lukewarm regarding him.

      Why is this a problem for Marxists? We’re not dogmatists who hang on every word Marx says. You should find fault with his actual stances, not whether or not he agrees with Marx or other Marxists. What are some of his takes you don’t like?

        Saying that Marx’s LTV is Ricardian even though it purely isn’t.

        Anyways, I wasn’t arguing against that; just that I don’t like Cockshott. I find him overrated for various reasons and explained myself a bit.
