    I don’t think most people appreciate how quickly this will lead to the breakdown of our global civilization. We operate on economies of scale and that means that a crash in food production in a few regions will affect the entire world. When people aren’t going to have enough food that will translate into breakdown in civil order. Every society is three hot meals from chaos.

      Seems that media are not stressing it enough, hence people don’t care enough, which makes politicians also not very keen to tackle this hugely important topic. Sad.
