      As soon as someone makes anything remotely usable on web 3.0 we’ll be there. So far it’s just scams or rebuilding the wheel with Blockchain for some unknown reason.

    Web 3.0 has changed from semantic web to use crypto and other new technical tendencies. I do not hope a more bright future than with previous definition.

        You’re right, they’re not. decentralized doesn’t imply federation, but federated implies decentralization.

        Both kind of networks are decentralized. However, distribution goes further than federation. A federated network has multiple centers, whereas a distributed network has no center at all.
