      Maybe even half the population, as they also want to ban relatives of party members from entering. No clue how that would work though, there are no public lists of party members let alone their families.

        Well they could search the phones / computers of every Chinese visitor, you can actually be denied entry to the US for refusing to hand over your passwords.

          So most likely its going to affect everyone who looks vaguely Asian. Even if peope unlock their phones, the border guards cant read Chinese.

            Well… presumably only those traveling under PRC passports though? PRC does not recognize dual citizenships, and while I’m sure there are those who ignore this they are less likely to be party members.
