That gaming revolution wouldn’t have happened, if they hadn’t made SteamOS Arch-based first, bc gaming on Arch is a lot easier than on any other distro.

That’s why they choose Arch instead Ubuntu, it’s better distro.

EDIT: And I think they chose Arch also because of the community, they are more active, and they know a bit more about Linux than default users that only knows to use Ubuntu (as they are not into OS or computer).
