I’m really curious about the rebranding! I always been weary of the Riot name because of its violent implications, but it didn’t bother me either.
It doesn’t appear to have taken place which is confusing
The announcement was about the rebranding taking place in a few weeks. I’m sure it will take place immediately after the announcement, but they didn’t want to take admins and folks in general off-guard. Also, to build some hype too…?
Hopefully they will keep the old Android app on life support. My wife uses it on a Blackberry
I don’t think it’ll get any more support sadly :/ Maybe if there is some critical security bug it might get addressed, but that’s about it, imo.
I don’t care about any new features etc. I just want to be able to send text and images
