today I got around to elaborating a little about what i was thinking when I made this post
It’s libre twitter, so it’s libre awful.
Mastodon must be replaced by something more performant and less resource hungry. Pleroma is almost as good as it’s needs to be. Gotosocial have potential to be the hero we need.
activity pub should also be replaced by something with content-addressability and cryptographic identities that aren’t bound to servers 🤷
