        I don’t fully understand IPFS either, but I assume it needs storage volunteers

          Oh on IPFS you’d have the same problem of not knowing what data to provide and where to find any that needs “seeding”.

            I think maybe I was remembering filecoin or whatever crypto fills that need with a market. OP could sell the space with something like that

        You got me reading the wiki on it cause I’m not too sure how it works myself but holy crap this is neat:

        “IPFS was used to create a mirror of Wikipedia, which allows people living in jurisdictions where Wikipedia is blocked to access the content of Wikipedia. That archived version of Wikipedia is a limited immutable copy that cannot be updated.”
