Hi, just a short message here to ask a fundamental question. The internet, free and open source software are what moves this website and this community toward a better future.

Sharing and social interaction is deeply rooted in our genome we, as specie, have been building amazing things that for most were made of passion, exchange and openness.

Great builder were doing it for generations, not for the ego of their representative, but because they like to do what they do. And I am grateful of this human mind set that has changed the world one action at the time.

Do you think there is any point, as our evolution is reaching a critical step, to consider any other form of publishing below what the GPL (General Public License) has been pioneering for decades already?

    It’s going to match the answer to the question “will people care about what we’ve built in 20 years”. I would like to say yes, especially considering that the platforms are definitely good enough, but there’s really no way to tell at this point.
