GPT-2’s understanding of imperialism is based on what it trained/read in those 8 million webpages, and it seems that it is somewhat pro imperialism. It understood that when discussing imperialism one might speak of China, Russia, and the Soviet Union. It has also suggested to “remove” countries that stand in the face of imperialism and the good it brings.
Lmao, even from just reading internet, the bot still emerged pro China, USSR and Russia.
On a more serious note, decades of capitalist sci-fi bullshit like terminator probably did humanity a terrible disservice. It might as well end as self-fulfilling prophecy once true AI is developed. Though maybe not, seeing as it will be probably developed first in China.
Its funny how literally every awfull shit the west (specially the US) can be find on the internet, the AI was able to read all of that in a matter of minutes. And the same can be said about the acomplishments of socialism.
Make a bunch of twitter bots that repeat this stuff over and over again.
