I have been using joplin for a while and I think its a great piece of software.

I’m using Joplin as an alternative to Evernote, which it clearly surpasses. Just to name a few features, Joplin supports Markdown & syncing with Nextcloud

Joplin is amazing. I used to use OneNote when doing my Masters degree since our library’s AT specialist recommended it. Now I am switching to the FOSS way, Joplin became not just a great substitute, but even better.
