I had never really heard of lichess, and was playing on chess.com until i read this comment. I am now playing almost exclusively on lichess, I like the tools available and the open-source aspect is a big plus in my book.

i love hitting the super key and typing the first few letters of whatever app you want and it finds it. the search feature works really well.
