Tor released Snowflake, a system to defeat internet censorship. People who are censored can use Snowflake to access the internet. Their connection goes through Snowflake proxies, which are run by volunteers.

    I actually currently use this! I’m not sure how well it works, especially since they removed the “you have helped X people defeat censorship” thing, but even back when they had it, the most it’d ever say for me was 1.

        I’d say that’s quite likely. I hope the HK protestors know about TOR.
