I am in no way saying Canada doesn’t have a nazi glorification problem (see: nazi collaborator war monuments; canada’s role in the rise of ukrainian facism). This is just an outdated map.
The deputy PM is the granddaughter of a Nazi collaborator and supports Ukrainian nationalists, so yeah, there’s a lot of very serious problems. Just pointing out that in the context of this vote, Canada hasn’t voted “no” since Harper’s conservative government. Trudeau has abstained (which is a deeply disturbing stance on its own), so the map is outdated.
