Ok so this shit has been making me sick to my stomach as of late, but recently, I keep seeing these memes popping up in various social media feeds about a genre called “NATOwave”. Basically worshipping NATO and western imperialism. It’s fucking cringe. NATO and America have been responsible for raiding and raping countless many nations: Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. and these people, who probably didn’t know/didn’t care wtf a NATO was before this Ukraine situation, let alone these BurgerLanders being able to point to fucking Ukraine on a map prior to this conflict unless they played S.T.A.L.K.E.R, but now all of a sudden their chanting “OO SS AY OO SS AY OO SS AYY LESS GO NATO” as if NATO is a fucking football team. The meteoric rise of propaganda in these times, from various news outlets/personalities who were still on the fence about the situation in Ukraine to going lockstep with the “slava ukraini” brigade, to displaying images from other countries like Syria and even games like War Thunder as images/events from Ukraine is just, well it’s not unexpected but it’s still shocking nonetheless.
This is not to say that this kind of pro-imperialism chest-beating is anything new, it’s just feels more blatant than usual

Amerika is being overtaken by China, and the latter is strengthening relationships with various geopolitically important countries. In particular, Russia clearly has a very capable military and they have a shit-ton of nuclear weapons.
The main tool at Amerika’s disposal is their incredible propaganda machine, and they are clearly using this more and more to increase public support for some kind of war (“actual” or economic) with China and Russia. Of course, they’ve been doing this toward China for a long time, but AFAICT they haven’t been quite this extreme against Russia since the illegal dissolution of the USSR.
Hopefully, most people realize how extreme the censorship is regarding NATO and Ukraine, and the <small>“I have no idea what I’m talking about but my opinion is definitely correct”</small> people seen on mainstream social media websites turn out to not be representative of the average Westerner… hopefully…<hr>TL;DR: Amerika go down the toilet hehe

Detective shows, like Castle or Elementary all had plots revolving around “Russian spies” (which have always been presented as somehow worse and evil-er than the CIA spies in same shows). The “if we lose, we make sure everyone loses” doctrine that the US accuses DPRK of hiding behind is the US’s main lifeline now and the main reason it has to be left to rot for itself instead of being dismantled.
Seems like they’re betting everything on Russia/China backing down at the last minute and not using nuclear weapons, which is obviously an extremely dangerous gamble
