Interimperialist conflict; the Entente was practically equal to the Central Powers. Sure, somebody could try to argue that one side was ‘less evil’ than the other, but how would you quantify that? And what good would it do?
Personally, what I find most interesting about the conflict is just how much of it flies in the face of capitalist propaganda. It exposes, for example, how much liberals truly value ‘freedom of speech’, and that capitalism didn’t save neutral countries like Sweden from the effects of sanctions.
For Greece in particular… well… I think that this post really speaks for itself. It’s chilling.
