    I love software. But only because I understand it’s limitations. I love developing software for engineering applications. Problem is that type of software is mostly developed by a handful of companies due heavy consolidation and difficulty in handling development of such software. So I have a hard time getting a job in this space. Eventually, because of some bad experiences, I am thinking about moving away from tech. But I love learning about CAD, FEA and how to develop such softwares. This situation just makes me sad.

      Start designing miso jars in cad, print them with 3d glass printers then sell em to the miso guy

        Currently, I am setting up a small horticulture business and keeping software dev as strictly hobby. But, I feel like I haven’t been given a fair chance and that hurts.

    Nice article but it just makes me wish I had the financial security to pursue something like this. I’ve got a good job, even.
