Same thing that’s happening with Reddit’s censorship of the far left, and now Discord banning GenZedong as well. We cannot trust these centralized privately owned services, even if they look good at first. We should always rely on decentralized open source alternatives.
well its not really banned yet, they just said it was violating tos, as spreading misinformation, probably because the russia-ukraine war channel, so discord asked to remove the misinformation and moderate the server, but if the misinformation continues it will get banned
Brave Search might be the best search engine right now, since DuckDuckGo started removing russian “propaganda”. Searx is also good.
As a DuckDuckGo user I felt so betrayed. I feel like it goes against what they stand for
