I think it’s even worse for that. They did say something. But that’s it. Only words, no actions. So now you’re apparently not allowed to criticize them for it anymore because “well they said they were sorry!” and “OMG stop playing that card!”
Even actual indigenous people, who you’d think would know if they’re still being affected by it (for those playing along at home: yes they are), are being shut down in this way.
Yeah exactly, now that we know that Canada’s been committing an actual genocide, apparently we’re supposed to just accept it.
Canada looks to be much more civilized compared to its southern neighbour. But that’s only because America is a dystopian nightmare.
Canada is a failed, illegitimate state, a festering corpse. The people of Canada jerk themselves off over how ‘good’, ‘kind’ and ‘polite’ they are. All the while turning a blind eye to the constant evil of the government and their fellows. And when they take their heads out of the sand it’s only to cheer on the atrocities. Monsters hiding behind smiles the lot of them. This hellhole makes me sick.
They would much rather talk about gender pronouns.
