“Ryan Wesley Routh, the 58-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday in connection with what the F.B.I. described as an attempted assassination on former President Donald J. Trump, had expressed the desire to fight and die in Ukraine.”

And there it is, the NATO-sexual weirdos come out to defend their precious imperialist war of aggression.

This makes two attempts on heads of state (or potential ones) by NATO loving /r/neoliberal types with the attack on the PM/president of Slovakia just because they expressed skepticism of supporting the Nazis in Ukraine.

According to Twitter he has ties to Azov and was actively engaged in attempting to recruit and smuggle mercenaries from Central Asia to fight in Ukraine, and proposed doing the same for Taiwan. Unhinged psycho. Too bad these wannabe assassins are such rabid turbolibs…

It’s definitely for the best. Imagine the news if a commie or even a dem took aim at trump. I just want some conservative to take him out so when secret service kills the guy there’s a net zero loss

Alternatively, I’d like Trump to win and immediately (by necessity) begin cracking down on all those who engaged in lawfare against him, and against the deranged “totally not glowies” NAFO maniacs who have- by the looks of it- tried to take him out (or looked the other way at their assets who attempted it) twice at this point.

If “both sides” of the fascist establishment in the US could start killing each other off, it would be a win-win for humanity. The more destructive for the US fascist regime, the better.

how crazy would it be if even the state department/deep state has drank the kool-aid about Trump being the End of Democracy and they’ve been trying to kill him all year lol

It would be pretty funny. Though I don’t necessarily think they buy that shit (it’s not out of the question though). I expect they’re more pissed about all their plans like Project Ukraine getting derailed, and having actual “opposition” (still a neoliberal, somewhat neocon, hegemonist imperialist and racist- but they hate him for even the smallest of differences/not being of their number as I see it).

He was hiding in a bush presumably waiting for him to come by or something and Secret Service saw his gun pointing out of the bush and shot at him.

      Pretty pathetic in my opinion.

They even admitted that there’s a lot of dense cover around and he’d basically be invisible if he didn’t stick his gun out.

    NYT also claims:

In a May 2020 post, he invited Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, to Hawaii for a vacation and offered to act as “ambassador and liaison” to resolve disputes between the two nations.

I’ve been noticing the articles are saying he was a chaotic mess, a hindrance to the war in Ukraine, and acted like he was the personal representative of all American volunteers there. Not sure if any of that is true or if they’re just trying to distance themselves from him, but I could see it being true.

Doesn’t change the fact he’s a pro-Ukrainian who tried to assassinate Trump, and failed miserably. Kind of makes me wonder if the first assassin was also pro-Ukraine.
