One of my comments in GenZedong was reported for harassment because I jokingly said I hate men (who aren’t comrades) like… 2 days ago.

Did I actually offend someone?

I’m pretty sure someone just picked an instance where I used the word ‘hate’ and is targeting me either for supporting Donbas or maybe just… being Russian?

I’ve contested the ban. Anyone have some experience with how this usually goes?

    I had a friend appeal 7 times that he was innocent, the admins returned him his account the 7th time.

      1. It’s doubtful that humans see the appeals.
      2. It’s guaranteed that they don’t care if you’re innocent. Losing 1 of out of millions of users costs them nothing. They have no legal obligation to be fair.
      3. The people who were originally on reddit are no longer a useful demographic. For that matter, they just might be counter-productive, as they tend to scare away the new, desired demographics.

    People have been using bots to crawl our comments and mass report accounts and posts. They’ve been targeting everyone on GenZedong. I expect a lot of users are going to have that experience and there’s not much we can do about it. Also note I report accounts that threaten me all the time and Reddit replies they’re not in violation. Which is nice.

    Edit: oh I see it is permanent. It’s really hit or miss with the admins. Lmk how it goes if you need additional help

    I got perma’d off a 9 year old account and every other account with this IP before or after the initial one a few days ago because i said the only good nazi is a dead one. Pretty ridiculous that reddit takes the side of nazis.

    This is so fucking frustrating. I’ve used Reddit for like 8 years and everything got wiped out. Admins said it was for ban evasion but didn’t actually explain how that was the case.

    Gonna appeal it daily until I get someone who decides to work with me

    I was just IP banned, like 12 accounts suspended, for illegitimate reasons. I had an account suspended for saying wali would probably get taken out in the first hour, then IP banned for reporting a post encouraging an assassination attempt against pootn.

    Using reddit has been a head fuck these last few weeks.
