One of my comments in GenZedong was reported for harassment because I jokingly said I hate men (who aren’t comrades) like… 2 days ago.

Did I actually offend someone?

I’m pretty sure someone just picked an instance where I used the word ‘hate’ and is targeting me either for supporting Donbas or maybe just… being Russian?

I’ve contested the ban. Anyone have some experience with how this usually goes?

    I had a friend appeal 7 times that he was innocent, the admins returned him his account the 7th time.

      1. It’s doubtful that humans see the appeals.
      2. It’s guaranteed that they don’t care if you’re innocent. Losing 1 of out of millions of users costs them nothing. They have no legal obligation to be fair.
      3. The people who were originally on reddit are no longer a useful demographic. For that matter, they just might be counter-productive, as they tend to scare away the new, desired demographics.
