If not a fork, are there any Qt MPD clients out there? I really like MPD, and I myself prefer ncmpcpp, however my family of course doesn’t want to know about NCUIs… I do prefer Qt apps, hehe.
Quimup is nice as well, however it doesn’t download album art, and it doesn’t support online/radio services/streaming. So in many aspects not comparable, but to play local music, it does the work…
There’s qmpdclient but it may have been abandoned as well. Strange to see that no QT based mpd clients are in active development while KDE is probably more popular than it’s ever been.
