I experience that my memory is used up on my android phone, but I dont understand what drains the memory.

I only found AnotherMonitor on fdroid, but it doesnt appear to show which app is consuming memory. Only total consumption.

Are there any good apps or solutions for this? Or at least as autonomous slash private as possible.

I think you can see it in the Dev options

      That doesnt sound very userfriendly😬

Im going to check it out, but it shouldnt be that hacky to figure out something so essential.

Pretty easy actually. Just click Build Number a bunch of times and you will get a notice that you’ve enabled Developer Options. Then search Memory.

It’s actually a year old. Sorting by hot has some weird problems. The devs partially fixed it, but as you can see, it still doesn’t work as intended from time to time.

Most people just sort by Top > Day or Active.

From what I know Android doesn’t let full knowledge of the processes running on the device. In my case as I was getting desparate I just factory resetted it and its much better now.

Not sure what you’re exactly want to do, but does Settings --> Applications help?

In those settings only app size is shown, not memory usage.

It is closed source, but you can disable its internet. I have found SystemPanel 2 full version with ADB usage stats access incredible in terms of the information it provides, even on wakelocks and so on. Nothing compares, and it feels like one of those KitKat/ICS era apps that used to show all the system information.
