Never heard anyone using it besides doing some research, benchmark etc. tests.

I used it as my default fs in the mid-2000’s using Gentoo. It seemed to be on par with ext3 in terms of stability, at the time.
Interest and development seemed to stagnate after the murder.
Me neither. I’m curious and hopeful about bcachefs though
