I mean, it’s like someone holding a knife to your throat. Yes, they could’ve just stabbed you right away, if that was their plan. But knowing that, can you really ignore that knife?
This isn’t holding a knife to your throat though. It’s more like having a knife in their bag. Especially with Ukraine potentially joining NATO, it’s equally possible they’re building up a defense.
You probably don’t mean equally possible as in the sam likelihood, or ?
