      If it makes you feel any better I never finished DS1. Ended up watching a playthrough but I did not have it in me whatever was needed to finish the game.

    Last fully blind playthrough I got to do was the original Demons Souls release back in college - every other game since I haven’t played until years after release and so I was already fairly spoilered going in. So hyped for a mostly blind ER playthrough.

      It does use the same engine. It should work fine offline. About online there are a few complications so not sure about that.

    I probably won’t be able to play the game for awhile cause my graphics card is pretty old. But a few of my favourite streamers have expressed interest in playing the game on stream. So I’m hyped anyway to watch them play! :D

    I was so psyched for this game just because of the amazing review scores and hype from all of my friends talking about buying it. Then I went to check it out and saw that it was another dark souls game and my spirits were crushed. I can’t play these games for crap. I usually end up disgusted with the amount of time I just wasted repeating over and over the same deaths.

    :( But I still want to try anyway

      Try it brother/sister. I also thought at one point that I could not play them. Now I have finished every game of theirs that they have released after Dark Souls 2 (inclusive).
