    We joke but perpetual resets are better than whatever 200 year Monopoly game we’re still rolling dice on for some reason

      Resets might be better, if they were relatively gentle. If they’re the most barbaric version of a reset, then who wants that?

      I’m mostly a minarchist. Sometimes you need the benign bacteria in there crowding it all out, so that the flesh-eating variety don’t get a foothold. But we live in a world where the C. difficil is crowing everything out while people whine “but what would we do without bacteria!”.
