TIL about Pinetime. Seems like a decent replacement for my Pebble.
No always-on display and waterproof rating only to 1m instead of 30m, though 😞.
Nevertheless, quite interesting. Maybe at some point new more capable hardware will arrive.
Yea it’s a shame. I really would like a watch with the Pebble Time’s display.
Amazfit bip have always on screen. You can use it with gadgetbridge in android and forget about the official app
This. I have one for like 10 years, battery life is ~one month per charge, you can set the backlight to go on when the arm is raised, super Gadgetbridge support.
The Fitbit Versa gives me a week long charge, and so much missed potential. Especially with Google getting envious over how much better they were than the Pixel watches so had to gimp them.
So sad
