      Apparently, yes. I’m going to have to track some down to try it, but a quick glance over at Taobao says this is instant snack food.

        I guess they’re in oil or vinegar or a combination of both which has softened the shell.

          Nope. Dry food. Deep-fried and packaged, like crisps.

      It’s labelled. Even in English if you open the pic to full size (at least at the source).
