    If anything, the book of Mormon would be fan-fiction in this series, or maybe one of those cases where the author’s son or whatever writes an awkward sequel that isn’t as popular as the originals and steps all over the canon.

    I like the bit in Season 2 where he turns water into wine. I would really appreciate that in this economy

    Lol … this is way bigger fandom than a quadrilogy.

    This is like a Star Trek fandom that’s been going on for 3,000 years.

    Man they really jumped the shark at number 4. I mean you had to suspend rational belief across all of them but that’s just movie magic. Number 4 took it too far.

    Gnostic Gospels is where it’s at! Oldest surviving (non metal/stone) books in existence!

        I read them recently - mostly it’s the same stuff as in the canon gospels tbh. Some have more of a Buhdist slant (Jesus isn’t God but we’re all god style) but nothing out there.

    The Book of Mormon doesn’t mention space-Jesus at all. Unless you count teleportation, which might be considered spatial manipulation. It’s more like a spinoff that connects back to the original near the end.
