I thought I was an Auth-Left, but turns out I’m a Lib Left? Am I allowed here in lemmygrad.ml? And what idealogical learning, unlearning and changes I should make to myself?

The test is meaningless. You’re just as much a commie in “libleft.” You have to be racist or chauvinist to get in the auth quadrant. The scales and values aren’t coherent.

This, all of the questions are worded on this test in such a way as to skew people into libleft. Tests like these are silly and shouldn’t be used for anything more serious than entertainment

Ohh, yes I felt that, there were couple of questions regarding what’s my point on LGBTQ, sex outside marriage, moral policing in schools, etc, to which my answers were disagree or strongly disagree, based on the frame of questions.

The Political Compass defines authoritarianism to be when your are racist and hate gays. So, an anarchist who is racist and homophobic would be auth-left, while a Marxist-Leninist who isn’t that would be lib-left. My point is, don’t call yourself auth-left. Don’t call yourself lib-left either, because these are nonsense terms.

The test was designed to funnel ever one their so they could try to boost votes for Tony Blair… so I guess, repeat to yourself that Tony Blair was a Lib and did not care for the proletariat 15 times every morning for a month?

Haha, ok, but my question is, if I still think I am Marxist leninist, and I support Stalin, mao, castro and others to some degrees, and defend their idealogies, mostly in arguments, but still having some levels of mercy i(I guess because while I answered I noticed, and I was sure that I may be a lib), would make me a lib? Or woke-commie?

And how to improve myself? I read, but what should I read more? What idealogies should I read more?

I mean do not look into what this test says, it is essentialy a political adverstisement for the Blarite movement of the labor party, what you belive in your heart and what your actions are say far more than this test. Yes reading theory will always help, but do not pay this test a second thought

but still having some levels of mercy would make me a lib.

Castro talks about how vital it is to treat enemy fighters with kindness and respect, and release them back to the enemy side - even if they come back and fight again.

I think it’s an acceptance of the enemy’s framing to think that great Marxists were without mercy.

I remember reading about how the Soviets used to set their enemies free, but realised that it didn’t work and they had to be harsher against them. But I cannot find it. I cannot remember what book it was. If anybody has an idea do tell me.

And yes. It is driving me crazy.

Btw, don’t think of it as “how can I better conform to this online political group.” Just look into both sides of everything, practice “ruthless criticism of all that exists” (Marx), learn as much as you can, and try to get as close to the truth as possible. Conforming and confirmation bias are what is liberal, you just look at our (and our enemies’) theory and show for yourself what is functionally/near true (absolute truth doesn’t exist and the world is ambiguous and contradictory).

Edit: We are all affected by a desire to be accepted and our biases, but we became more free when realize what is limiting us.

It really depends on the time of their birth, what the moon and all those guys were doing, and how the furniture was arranged in their hospital room. A lib-left Scorpio could only mesh well with a water sign Trotskyite. You get a fire or air Trotskyite in the same room as a water and that’s why it always splits.

The moon was ascendent in the fifth quadrant by 46% for me, but it was a long labour; by the time my feet were out, it was down again to 34% at 57° of the third signal. I think that’s why I’m such a lib, tbh, but what can I do? The heavens are either aligned or they’re not, and for me, they were not 😔

That all metaphysics is equal. You’re lib-left, I’m auth-left. You’re a political INTJ and I’m a political ENFP. You’re a political indigo child and I’m a political empath. All of it is some grifter selling you their special mystical ruleset that they’ve somehow figured out, but they’re just obfuscating some actual system to be predatory. The political compass exists solely so that Nazis can post on the same subreddit as humans without the latter seeing that trick because they’re just quirky little dots on the same confirmation bias chart. A kind-hearted liberal wouldn’t post on /pol/ or Stormfront because they can clearly see that it’s a Nazi shithole for Nazis, but they’ll entertain those same posters on PCM because they’re both members of the same special metaphysical system.

It’s all made up to split the left, recuperate people’s semi-radical impulses into centrism and right-wing beliefs, and give right-wingers a platform to radicalise people who otherwise wouldn’t let them post there. It’s the reason that things like hippies/magic/conspiracy theories are powerful tools for right-wingers and the Thule Society was a major engine of the Nazis like Qanon is the modern right.

What it’s obscuring for us is really just organising strategies. The communist and anarchist projects have the same ultimate result. Anarchists think that is best achieved through people organically forming democratic structures that replace the state, like a network of mutual aid militias and communes and councils and unions. Communists think that is best achieved through people organically forming a political party out of their shared interests as workers and using it to replace the state, like a network of mutual aid militias and communes and councils and unions with a specific set of goals and a plan to achieve them. Both result in a classless, democratic society. Both require organised violence to get there. Both provoke a counterrevolutionary response that will have to be suppressed. But I as a Marxist just spent yesterday cooking for the anarchist Food Not Bombs org because they do the exact same thing that the Marxist Black Panther Party saw as the path to revolution. The big disagreement is just how you think that scales up best and whether it requires hierarchy to stay organised.

With the political compass it’s saying that despite us having the same policy goals and broadly the same positions, you should entertain libertarians and I should entertain fascists because we somehow share a common impulse with them too. Both get a platform as a result despite them being variations of the same toxic groups nobody would want to associate with otherwise.

I got a very similar score

My next highest after “orthodox Marxism” was left communism lol

In general these kinds of tests tend to be written by people (very online western leftists) who think Marxism-Leninism (and all the other words put on the end of that) is some kind of a corruption of a deeper, unchanging, eternally true Marxism you could call orthodox Marxism, which is definitely a totally real thing that exists outside of the Internet and the heads of people who only read Twitter and books from 1887

To score ML you basically just have to be a “communist” but also hate immigrants, abortion, the environment, and LGBT people

And I know because I just took the test as that and scored 100% ML lmao

That depends, did you also do the “which of the Backstreet Boys am I?” quiz as well? That should help clear things up. If you’re more of an AJ or a Kevin, don’t worry about it, if you’re more of a Nick though, you should probably do some soul-searching.
