Who the fuck downvotes this?
Anyone downvoting this simply because you hate China ultimately do not want peace in Palestine. This is a solid, really good thing. Having the world’s largest economic and manufacturing superpower directly involved in and aiming to achieve peace there is a GOOD thing. Stop being such utter losers about it. Start caring about human beings instead of engaging in campism.
Lol first time in the Middle East Xi?
Yeah, first time after brokering a historic peace deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
And he’s basically reiterating what’s the official position of most UN members. This is not a bad thing, but he’s not bringing anything new to the table.
The gang solves the middle east crisis
BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) – Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward a three-point proposal for the settlement of the Palestinian question during his talks with visiting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Beijing on Wednesday.
Xi stressed that the Palestinian question has remained unresolved for over half a century, causing great sufferings to the Palestinian people; justice must be done to Palestine as soon as possible.
First, the fundamental solution lies in the establishment of an independent state of Palestine that enjoys full sovereignty on the basis of the 1967 borders and with east Jerusalem as its capital, he said.
Second, Palestine’s economic and livelihood needs should be met, and the international community needs to step up development assistance and humanitarian aid to Palestine, he said.
Third, it is important to keep to the right direction of peace talks. The historical status quo of the holy sites in Jerusalem should be respected, and excessive and provocative words and actions should be avoided. A large-scale, more authoritative and more influential international peace conference should be convened so as to create conditions for the resumption of peace talks and contribute tangible efforts to help Palestine and Israel live in peace, he said.
“China stands ready to play a positive role to assist Palestine in achieving internal reconciliation and promote peace talks,” Xi said. ■
In response, Bibi puts forward three-point proposal for settlement of Taiwan question.
There is no Taiwan question, it’s part of China.
edit: Taiwan being part of China is the official position of the UN, and vast majority of countries in this world including the US. It’s also the fundamental basis for having diplomatic relations between US and China per Potsdam Proclamation that was signed 77 years ago between China, the US & the UK. This position has never officially changed.
Here’s what US state department has to say on their official site:
The United States approach to Taiwan has remained consistent across decades and administrations. The United States has a longstanding one China policy, which is guided by the Taiwan Relations Act, the three U.S.-China Joint Communiques, and the Six Assurances. We oppose any unilateral changes to the status quo from either side; we do not support Taiwan independence; and we expect cross-Strait differences to be resolved by peaceful means.
These are the basic facts of the situation. Not sure what people are downvoting here.
Not to mention that most Taiwanese do not support “Taiwanese Independence”. To bring it up is just begging for WW3 for no real reason.
It’s not like the west actually gives a shit about people in Taiwan, they’re just pawns to be used and thrown away the same way as Ukrainians were.
tell 'em
And what does the US state department say on Palastine independence? I know that the US doesn’t recognize it as a country, and if they don’t recognize Palastine’s sovereignty over its land then they must recognize it as part of Israel. Many Palestinians would like to be part of Israel, if not for better economic security. Both pseudo-countries have a lot of facts about them the same.
As for Taiwan, back in the day they claimed to be the “real China”, and forced the UN to only ever recognize “one China”. This rightly pissed off everyone on the mainland. I don’t see any movement on Taiwan’s status until everyone who can remember that historic slight has passed on, hopefully through natural means.
It takes stunning amounts of historical illiteracy to think there’s any actual parallels between Taiwan and Palestine.

I’m not a Chinese national, I’m just minimally informed about the subject I’m discussing.
Are you trying to kill me? I’m dying here. 🤣👏
