      LUKS2 (Linux Unified Key Setup) refers to disk encryption, LUKS2 allows different key derivation scheme that can make password harder to crack.

      Captive Portal is a WiFi AP function, that forces you to see a page (e.g. login page) before you cna use it. I have seem public WiFi that forces people to watch ads with this feature.
