I would prefer something based on Debian, like Ubuntu or PopOS, but I’m open for other suggestions as well, as I’m looking for a distro to daily-drive on my new Framework laptop.

I hate to be /that guy/ but Arch Linux has been the most stable in my experience. The AUR is also great for software not in the normal repos. You can set it up with whatever desktop environment you want, and the wiki/forums have tons of information.
Of course you don’t “hate to be that guy”. If you’re suggesting Arch to someone who’s asking for the best debian-based distro then you are that guy.
Every basic debian-based distro will have more than enough stability for a daily driver laptop. OP isn’t looking for a server OS. No Ubuntu user is saying “gosh darn, this distro is too unstable!”
And since when is rolling release Arch more stable than Debian? Wouldn’t Debian make more sense for a server?
that is a very good point
