Want to watch the #threadiverse growing by the hour?
@tao just set up @threadcount, which posts every hour the number of new people signing up to #Kbin and #Lemmy
post submitted to @kbinMeta on Kbin and @fediverse on Lemmy
Is it possible to follow that from Lemmy or do you need an account on one of the micro-blogging fediverse sites?
you can look at the account on this side https://lemmy.ml/u/threadcount@botsin.space but I don’t think you can even “follow” users on lemmy, but that is a good question and I am still getting my grip of how lemmy works, I never really used reddit so I don’t know what the assumptions are
The whole reddit like part of the fediverse makes sense to me, what I am still confused by is how that part interacts with the microblogging part.

Is there a way to get from the lemmy post at https://lemmy.ml/post/1203337 to viewing it on mastodon (e.g. https://mastodon.social/@liaizon@wake.st/110530316373516739)? Or to see the whole lemmy.ml fediverse community (online guides say I should be able to search for https://lemmy.ml/c/fediverse in my mastodon instance and find a feed of posts to at community, but I get no results for that).👋 Hi there. This is a reply from the #vidiverse
(Only joking 😜 … just not much of a fan of giving each application type its on *-verse name)
As a clarification to this reply I wrote Towards a #Peopleverse.
When I click on the Context link for the notification for this example reply I get https://sh.itjust.works/u/liaizon@social.wake.st which seems to show a timeline for you and has Send Message and Block User buttons. Presumably that is the way to read microblogging messages via Lemmy
