    If someone is so underpaid, overworked, or stressed that they consider injuring themselves to succeed or better themselves, we have failed as a society.

    (breaking a body part for a big payout, this could be abused so hard)

    I my be wrong but the number of people willing to injure themselves severely for a big payout can’t be statistically significant.

      what i meant in the original comment, is that enough people with bad intentions would injure themselves bad enough to get a large payout, but set up the “accident” so that the injury would heal. and it may be a minority of bad people who would take advantage, but because it may apply to ALL self-employed (working from home) people, over ALL jobs, there’s gonna be enough people willing to attempt for a payout, if theres enough money to be had.
