    It is possible to delete all your data correct? I mean with GDPR and all?

      Not easily. You have to edit each of your posts and comments to something generic like “#” as Reddit (supposedly) only actively stores the latest edit. Here’s the problem though, the Reddit site and APIs only give you I think 1000 results per query (which deleted stuff still counts toward, it’s just not shown), and there’s no way to see more. So you have to rely on checking all the sorting modes and making searches to find all your content. However, all the content you ever posted is visible to the public. Also you can’t edit post titles or post-linked URLs at all.

      Reddit gets away with this from a GDPR perspective because you’re “not supposed” to post identifying information, but yeah, that’s just an excuse IMO.

      My hope is that the data request contains all of your account data (with links) so you at least know what needs deleting.
