Can I go with AMD if I’m using an Intel CPU? Isn’t there some conflict?
I checked prices and the RX570 or 580 are way too expensive, I have a family member who’s coming from a first world country which could help me to to get it more cheaper than in my third world country but the prices are still fucking insane.
I read you are on Elementary OS, on which there should be no issue using AMD cards on Intel hardware. That said, depending on what games you play it may not be “necessary” to go as “high” as an RX 570/580, which may help a bit with the prohibitive cost.
no conflict at all, don’t worry about it, it’s always good to check prices, GPU market is a mess right now but once in a blue moon you can find a really good offer, keep an eye out for the 5000 or 6000 series of AMD GPUs as well, since those are way newer, but are harder to find right now
