I’m running Graphene on a Pixel 6. I lost it and someone opened it somehow and called two of my contacts to give it back.
I’m a bit confused how this even happened. When I got the phone back, they were going through my contacts. I checked app usage stats and they went through a banking app (not missing money), maps, signal, etc.
Is there a way to figure out how they even unlocked my phone?
Also, SIM cards have a 3 try PIN. After that you need the PUK to reset it.
So no, not a likely option.
The most likely option is that OP used a common pin (1234, 1111, 0000, etc), or one that is easily guessed (for whatever reason). That or a pattern that is using a 3x3 grid and a simple shape. I had very good results every time I had to unlock phones with those. If you are using a pattern, use a 4x4 or 5x5 grid, and make your pattern a little bit more complex than one or two straight lines…
If it’s enabled that is. Would say standard is that it’s not for a lot of people.
