It does doesn’t it? But I’ve come to a conclusion that it would have been much better with a 4:3 display since most of the games that will run on it are of that era.
I have the smaller Odroid Go Advance that is the same internals and run RRVL on it. Its a pretty cool little handheld.
Not having a 4:3 screen was addressed by the company. There are just no manufacturers making 4:3 panels at a size that would work for a handheld. They wanted to but currently it just isn’t an option.
Now one is underway so i will get to see for myself =) the last linux handheld I had was the OpenPandora (full keyboard) so a device without even usb host would be to big of a leap. will definitly check out void for this
wow that looks tempting, has anyone tried it?

If I bought one I’d run RRVL, basically void Linux that boots into RetroArch. Mmmh yummy. https://github.com/valadaa48/retroroller
There is another RK3326 device coming, looks like ugggh but it checks all the boxes for a well thought out retro handheld: https://obscurehandhelds.com/2021/02/the-gameforce-rk3326-handheld-looks-like-a-gba-descendant/

Cool beans!
Here’s a really thorough guy chatting about these things. In this video he mods his Odroid :)
