If there was no way to run the website anyway in case it works, then it might be a loss of freedom, but since there is clearly a button for doing just that, I don’t see a problem. In fact, I see a message like this as helpful for troubleshooting if it doesn’t work because you immediately get a hint to try a different browser to check whether it’s a problem with the browser itself or the app.
