But sync allows me not only to synchronize my data with my mobile or another PC where I have Vivaldi, it is also a Backup that allows me to recover all my settings, bookmarks, passwords, notes, etc. when i change the pc. I just have to install Vivaldi, enter my account and in seconds I have the browser back with all the data and settings as on the old PC. This is what the syncfunction is for.
