The United States has overreacted by frequently using advanced missiles to shoot down unidentified flying objects, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin at a press briefing in Beijing on Monday.

Wang made the remarks in response to a question about U.S. military fighter jets shooting down a flying object over Lake Huron on Sunday, the fourth one shot down by a U.S. missile after a Chinese civilian unmanned airship accidentally entered U.S. airspace due to force majeure a little more than a week ago.

US military is currently, and I quote, “not ruling out aliens”. I hate to go full conspiracy theorist, but to be totally honest, I think the US may be shooting down it’s own shit to keep the wave of chauvinism and paranoia from that balloon shit going. You know full well if the US airspace was being invaded by China or Russia for real the US govt would immediately be screeching it to the high heavens and do the same back.

Anything to keep from having to explain what the fuck just happened in Ohio, apparently. That’s my assumption; they’re hyperfocusing these satellites so people don’t start arming up and going after rail company execs.

This and I also believe they are trying at the same time to drive up anxiety about other countries invading so they can justify and shift public opinion for a war with China

People will put up with a lot more shit at home if they think they’re doing it to fight an evil enemy. The US will be promoting the ‘rationing spirit’ before long. (Arguably we’ve already seen this in response to rising energy prices and Ukraine.)

And so soon after that missing nuclear thing in Australia. The one they lost on the road. I’m not saying they’re connected events, except that both show how nonchalant are capitalists and how little capital cares about health and safety.

As if the design of the train is to avoid an explosion by releasing the contents anyway, just slowly. Maybe I’ve misunderstood, but if I have understood what happened: wtf.
