No, I’m just going to accuse him of being incredibly selective in his choice of city. Have we forgotten the siege of Mariupol so soon? Or the massive destruction in Aleppo?

Mariupol only lasted so long specifically BECAUSE they are being incredibly soft-handed compared to western invasions.

Western invasions of a country involve obliterating all power infrastructure in the first 2 days, then absolutely massive overwhelming bombing campaigns while proceeding to take an area. Russia have absolutely not performed this, instead they’ve performed a very limited number of strikes with precisions missiles while instead making slow and steady ground progress with infantry backed by artillery and counter-artillery.

They COULD have just gone in and obliterated their way through Mariupol but the goal they had was limiting civilian casualties. We can umm and ahh about whether mistakes were made or they could have done that better than they did but compared to any western attack on a country Mariupol was extremely soft.

Did you ever see what they did to Libya? Afghanistan? Yugoslavia? Iraq?

In Iraq the US went in and destroyed schools, hospitals, roads, bridges, residential buildings, sports clubs, electrical power plants, water treatment facilities, and more as a starting point. Don’t get me started on how the US mercs all behave in every country they go to alongside the US army.
