Even Harrison was a military officer who was famous for fighting against (and committing atrocities against) indigenous American groups before he became president. I don’t think there’s a single US president with a clean track record.
His presidential record is clean because he became ill at his inaugeration and died a few days later. Given sufficient time, I’m sure he would have been as bad as the rest of them. One might argue for Zachery Taylor’s addition to the toleable presidents list since he died after 11 months in office having done absolutely nothing in that short time.

It’s upsetting too bc Carter was like the only one who seems like a decent guy, but he ultimately represents something more evil
