    Pretty sure it is accounted for in wages in China. Taxes happen transparently for most workers, the majority of advertised wages or costs of things are already after taxes, and you certainly don’t have to spend days filing them.

    • Makes sense (AFAICT, even plenty of capitalist countries don’t require workers to file taxes manually). I was thinking more along the lines of “the concept of taxes no longer exists” (in a DotP with a strictly planned economy)

        Yes. Skim what’s needed for the community chest off the surplus value, rest can go to the worker, because there is no profit motive.
