So today’s been a real stressful day since Eid is tomorrow (technically today its AM right now) and I have an essay due the day after aswell as exams in the few days.
I am stressing the hell out on how I can make a coherent argument in my essay dealing with world-systems theory, eurocentrism and use of “networks” and flows in viewing the history of globalisation but reading the twitter thread made me realise,
even if I fail at writing anything coherent it will never be as embarassing as any takes anarchist twitter has 💀
They just reached a new level of idiocy, before it was “some people cant read because of disabilities so don’t ask everyone to read Lenin!” which, valid, listen to audio books, now they actively want people to NOT to read. It cant hurt, if you don’t have a disability which prevents you from reading, gain literacy, it REALLY cant hurt and it will only make you more knowledgeable. With knowledge comes being smarter than this person. (and now I realize I’m talking to no one since this is typed out.) But like seriously though, writing is one of the best human inventions, don’t let the Phoenicians down.
