MOSCOW (AP) — Russian troops launched their anticipated attack on Ukraine on Thursday, as President Vladimir Putin cast aside international condemnation and sanctions, warning other countries that any attempt to interfere would lead to “consequences you have never seen.”
We’ll have to wait to see what the result of this is, and I can only hope for the best.
If the western media is right and it is an annexation, then I’ll admit to being wrong. But it really doesn’t look like that, so I’m going to keep giving Russia the benefit of the doubt for now.
Turns out, NATO media was wrong and Russia never invaded in the end. This chaos should end in the next 12 hours or so. It will not be a Crimea 2.0, and things went just as I thought they would have escalated.
Yeah. This is starkly different from what the media is trying to imply (that they are trying to annex Ukraine or something like that).
